This complete package contains all the materials required for the production of carbon parts or carbon fiber components based on epoxy. The epoxy laminating resin Resinpal 2401 included in the set is characterized by its high heat resistance, good mechanical properties and high impact strength. In combination with carbon fabric, this results in "feather-light" components for e.g. panels, side mirrors or front and rear aprons.
The carbon contained in the complete package is chemically inert, electrically conductive, thermally stable, permeable to X-rays and has very good damping properties. If you want to reduce mass and weight without sacrificing strength and rigidity, carbon fiber fabric is the ideal material because it is significantly lighter than aluminum or steel materials.
We recommend a processing temperature of at least 18°C.
What distinguishes Resinpal 2401 from other epoxy resins? Resinpal 2401 has a very high thermal (up to 120°C) and mechanical resilience.
Is Resinpal 2401 epoxy resin crystal clear? No, Resinpal 2401 is yellowish and a pure laminating resin.
